Worked with Frank and team on plans for an addition on my home. The process was great. They use an app which helps with collaboration and all items stored and referenced within it. Which is helpful when you have a lot of other things going on outside of the project. I could add links to ideas and my rough outlines. We went into a lot of detail which helped me narrow down my decisions. They incorporated everything in the final files. The response from the bid set from contractors have all been positive. They all kept asking who i worked with because they plans were so complete where they are used to getting very rough drafts. Pricing was all reasonable and in line with other design/architecture teams I interviewed. Frank has even checked in to see how the bidding process is going and help me review some of the submissions. If they are available to work on your project you should definitely hire this team.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Frank Kalata, as the architect for my new home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the start, Frank was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my vision. He not only designed a home that perfectly suited my needs but also went above and beyond when we encountered an unexpected hurdle.
Due to some modifications made outside of the original plans, we were having difficulty obtaining the final certificate of occupancy. Frank stepped in, navigating the complexities with the city officials and ensuring that every requirement was met. His expertise and commitment were instrumental in getting the final approval, saving us time and stress.

Frank and the crew at Home Architect Studio are A+. He was willing to work with me on a creative solution to solve major structural problems and turn them into opportunities to add value to my property. He is extremely knowledgeable and even was able to recommend a couple contractors to help me. If you’re looking for straight shooter who can work within a budget to provide the best solution give him a call!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience consulting with Frank on my potential home remodel. I searched the web for architects that might share my overarching philosophy of creativity and sustainability and the company fit the bill. Frank was extremely responsive, and clearly has excellent communication and problem solving skills. Unfortunately circumstances led us in another direction so we were unable to hire Home Architect Studio but I know I really would have enjoyed working with Frank. I can't vouch for his actual skills as an architect since I didn't reach that stage but I encourage you to give them a try.

The service is fantastic and the help Frank provided was brilliant. We have been looking for friendly and professional to use architect service that deals with home improvements for ages. Frank and his team at Home Architect Studio are simply amazing. Frank takes a lot of time to really understand his clients', needs, wants and budget. He was patient, kind and responsive through the entire process and most of all, his final drawings captured everything we wanted for our whole house renovation. Several contractors even noted how detailed and excellent his plans were. We highly recommend Frank and Home Architect Studio!

My wife and I thought about putting a permeant structure in our back yard to replace an existing Awning. Home Architect studio (Frank) was on time, personable, listened to our wants Then gave us the pros and cons on the job we thought about doing.
Turns out the job we thought was one price would actually be out of our budget. I called Frank today and he completely understood our position.
I would absolutely recommend calling Home Architect Studio, I will for our next project.

Frank worked around our schedules and was easy to work with.
He did a great job walking me through the process of properly supporting the main beam in our house.
Then he took extra time to to check back in with us to make sure all of the documents satisfied the lawyers during its sale.
We will definitely use him again on our next project.
