With two younger children, our clients  (married couple with two toddler age children) asked us to help design a second story addition to given them a bit more living space since they were limited to only one floor of living space. The challenge on this project was the existing site conditions since the home was built into a significantly inclined space. This coupled with the fact their first floor was recently refinished to a modern open layout, Home Architect Studio worked hard to limit the first floor design disruptions.
